UNFPA International Consultant: CSE in Humanitarian Settings

UNFPAAfricaJobsPosted

UNFPA is seeking an International Consultant to lead the development of a gender-transformative, trauma-informed Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) resource package for youth in humanitarian settings across West and Central Africa. This consultancy aims to empower national facilitators to effectively deliver CSE sessions in their communities, ensuring that the needs of youth in these regions are met.

The consultant will be responsible for conducting youth consultations, developing educational materials, and training facilitators. This role is crucial in addressing the gaps in sexual and reproductive health education, particularly in humanitarian contexts, and contributes to UNFPA's mission of promoting safe and healthy pregnancies and empowering young people.

Eligibility

Candidates should have at least 8–10 years of experience in designing and implementing CSE or youth programming, preferably in humanitarian settings. A Master's degree in public health, sexual and reproductive health, education, or related fields is required. Fluency in French and English is essential, and knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
