The UNIDO Project Associate – Industrial Futures Talent Initiative (IFTI) 2026 is a competitive early-career opportunity designed for young professionals from underrepresented countries. This program offers hands-on experience in international development, industrial policy, and sustainable economic transformation at UNIDO Headquarters in Vienna, Austria.

Eligibility
Applicants must be:
- Aged between 23 and 28 years old.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree.
- Have at least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Nationals of eligible underrepresented UNIDO Member States (primarily from the Global South).
- Fluent in English; knowledge of an additional UN language is desirable.
Benefits
Participants receive a competitive salary of approximately EUR 4,000 gross per month, air travel allowance, and a 50% medical insurance subsidy.
