University of Melbourne Graduate Research Scholarships 2026/2027 for International Students (Fully Funded)
The University of Melbourne offers up to 600 Graduate Research Scholarships for the 2026–2027 academic year, aimed at both domestic and international students pursuing a Master’s by Research or a PhD. These scholarships provide full tuition coverage and generous living allowances, totaling approximately AUD $135,000 over the program duration.
Applicants do not need to submit a separate scholarship application; they will automatically be considered upon applying for a qualifying graduate research program at the university.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must apply for or hold an offer for a Master’s by Research or PhD program at the University of Melbourne. Both domestic and international students are eligible for stipend-based scholarships, awarded competitively based on academic merit and research potential.
Benefits
Covers full tuition fees for up to 2 years for Master’s or 4 years for PhD, a living stipend of AUD $39,500 per year, relocation allowance, and Overseas Student Health Cover for international students.
