University of Tokyo MEXT Scholarship 2027 for International Students (Fully Funded)
The University of Tokyo MEXT Scholarship 2027 offers an outstanding opportunity for international students to pursue fully funded Master’s, PhD, and research programs in Japan. Eligibility
International students with an excellent academic record. Applicants must be born after April 2, 1992, and must have completed education for a Master’s or PhD in a related field. English or Japanese proficiency is required. Former MEXT scholarship holders are not eligible.
Benefits
Full tuition fees, monthly stipend of 144,000 JPY for Master’s students and 145,000 JPY for PhD students, round-trip airfare, housing assistance, and national health insurance.
