University of York GREAT Scholarships 2026 for International Students (£10,000 Support)

The University of York, in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, is offering several scholarships for international students from China, Ghana, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, and Turkey. These scholarships provide a minimum of £10,000 for students pursuing one-year postgraduate studies in the UK.

This opportunity is designed to support students in accessing world-class education at the University of York and other participating institutions across the UK. It aims to enhance educational opportunities for students from selected countries, helping them to achieve their academic and professional goals.

Applicants must be citizens of China, Ghana, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, or Turkey. They should have a conditional or unconditional offer to study a one-year postgraduate taught course at the University of York by 11 May 2026. Additionally, applicants must be paying fees at the overseas fee rate and have met any language conditions of their offer by the deadline.

The scholarship offers a minimum of £10,000 towards tuition fees for one-year postgraduate courses.
