
WHO Operations and Logistics Support Officer 2026 for International Volunteers (Emergency Response)
The World Health Organization (WHO) is seeking an Operations and Logistics Support Officer for a six-month full-time assignment in El Arish, Egypt. This role is part of the UN Volunteers programme and focuses on supporting emergency health operations related to the Gaza crisis. The selected volunteer will coordinate the movement, storage, procurement, and delivery of essential medical supplies entering Gaza through Egypt.
This position is crucial as humanitarian agencies scale their emergency medical and logistics operations. The volunteer will work closely with WHO teams and various humanitarian partners to ensure timely access to life-saving assistance in a high-pressure environment.
Eligibility
International candidates with at least three years of relevant professional experience in logistics, humanitarian operations, procurement, or emergency response. A bachelor's degree in logistics management, supply chain management, public or business administration, engineering, or social sciences is required. Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
