Women in DeFi (WID) Laptop Scholarship Application 2026
The Women in DeFi (WID) Laptop Scholarship is part of the WID Summit 2026, themed 'Beyond the Bridge: African Women Leading the Future of Web3'. This initiative aims to empower African women who are actively learning, building, or contributing to the Web3 ecosystem but lack access to essential tools. Selected participants will receive laptops, mentorship, and career support to help them thrive in the digital economy.
This scholarship is designed for women who may not currently have access to the tools they need to participate fully in the digital economy, focusing on areas such as Blockchain Development, Decentralized Finance (DeFi), and more.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be female and based in Africa.
- Be actively learning or building within the Web3 ecosystem.
- Demonstrate a clear need for a personal laptop.
- Show commitment to growth in technology or Web3-related fields.
- Be available to attend the Women in DeFi Summit 2026 in Lagos.
- Provide valid identification for verification.
Benefits
Selected participants will receive a free working laptop, career support, mentorship, and access to Web3 programme support.
