
World Health Organization looking for Public Health Professionals
The Junior Public Health Professional (JPP) Programme in WHO South-East Asia Region (SEAR) provides young public health professionals under 35 years of age from SEAR Member States with a valuable opportunity for hands-on learning and leadership development within the WHO environment. This program aims to strengthen the technical and management capacities of emerging public health professionals by engaging them in the implementation and monitoring of priority health programs.
Participants will gain exposure to the strategies and working modalities of WHO and international health development partners, contributing to significant health initiatives and enhancing their professional skills in a global context.
Eligibility
Applicants must be below 35 years of age and nationals of SEAR Member States, which include Bangladesh, Bhutan, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, India, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Timor-Leste. A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is essential, with a Master's degree and additional training being desirable.
