Z Zurich Foundation Scholarship 2026
The Z Zurich Foundation Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded opportunity for young African leaders to attend the prestigious One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa. This program supports changemakers who are working to help vulnerable youth transition from education into employment or entrepreneurship while providing global exposure, leadership development, and networking opportunities.
Selected scholars will participate in specialized leadership development activities and networking sessions designed to expand their impact. This scholarship aims to empower grassroots leaders who are already addressing challenges within their communities, making it a significant opportunity for those committed to youth empowerment.
Eligibility
- Age: 18 to 35 years old by November 2026.
- Nationality: Must be a citizen and resident of an African country.
- Must demonstrate a strong impact aligned with the social equity mission of the Z Zurich Foundation.
- Leading an early-stage initiative focused on youth empowerment or social impact.
- The initiative must be operated through a formally registered non-profit organization with a bank account registered in its name.
- Must hold a primary leadership role within the initiative and not currently receive major corporate or institutional funding.
- Willingness to participate in pre-summit and post-summit engagement programs.
Benefits
The scholarship covers:
- Return flights to and from Cape Town, South Africa.
- Hotel accommodation between 1–6 November 2026.
- Daily meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the summit.
- Ground transportation between official summit venues in Cape Town.
