The 2026/2027 UNESCO/Poland Co-Sponsored Fellowships in Archaeology and Conservation offer a unique opportunity for individuals from selected member states to enhance their skills in archaeology and conservation. This fellowship provides a 9-month archaeological internship at the Faculty of Archaeology of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland, promoting international understanding and friendship among nations.

Selected fellows will engage in a main course on new multidisciplinary methods in archaeological practice, alongside supplementary courses. This program not only fosters academic growth but also cultural exchange, making it a significant opportunity for young professionals in the field.

Eligibility

Candidates must be nationals from the invited Member States, hold a B.A. or M.A. degree in Archaeology or Conservation, be proficient in English, and be no more than 40 years old.

Benefits

The fellowship covers free tuition for 9 months, a monthly allowance (PLN 2,200 for M.A. holders and PLN 1,800 for B.A. holders), a one-time special allowance upon arrival, international travel expenses, and health insurance.
