With funding of up to $100,000 annually, the prize is designed for projects that deliver measurable social impact for Africa’s most marginalized communities. This year, the prize has expanded its eligibility to include alumni driving transformative change within existing organizations, recognizing the diverse ways social transformation can occur.
Eligibility
Open exclusively to alumni of the Mandela Rhodes Scholarship and the Rhodes Scholarship programmes. Applicants must be Mandela Rhodes alumni from 2005 onwards or Rhodes Scholar alumni.
