
Africa CDC Biomanufacturing Fellowship 2026
The Africa CDC Biomanufacturing Fellowship is a strategic initiative aimed at developing Africa's next generation of vaccine manufacturing experts. This fully funded program combines hands-on industry exposure with leadership development over a two-year period, addressing the critical gap in local vaccine production during health crises.
Designed for experienced professionals in biomanufacturing, the fellowship emphasizes practical expertise and leadership skills, equipping participants to meet the growing demand for vaccine production across the continent. Selected fellows will engage in real-world environments, enhancing their technical skills and gaining insights into operational management and strategic planning.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of an African Union Member State
- Currently employed in a biomanufacturing-related organization
- Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of industry experience
- Relevant fields include Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biochemical Engineering
- Must possess a valid international passport
- Availability for training across designated countries is required.
