Africa CDC Biomanufacturing Fellowship Programme 2026
The Africa CDC Biomanufacturing Fellowship Programme 2026 offers a funded opportunity for African professionals to enhance their skills in vaccine production over a two-year period from July 2026 to June 2028. This program is designed for individuals working in biomanufacturing companies and aims to provide advanced training in vaccine R&D and manufacturing, alongside leadership and business skills.
Participants will gain hands-on experience and are expected to travel to various training sites. This fellowship not only strengthens individual capabilities but also contributes to building Africa's vaccine-making capacity, which is crucial for public health across the continent.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be employed by an active biomanufacturing company.
- Hold a Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biochemical Engineering, or a Bachelor’s degree with over five years of relevant experience.
- Be a citizen of an African Union member state with a valid passport.
- Be fully available for the program's duration and locations.

The fellowship covers daily stipends, return flights to training sites, health and travel insurance, visa costs, and a post-program allowance.
