African Development Bank Internship Programme 2026 for Young Professionals (With Stipend)

The African Development Bank Internship Programme offers students and recent graduates the chance to gain professional experience in international development, finance, economics, and public policy. Interns work on projects that contribute to economic growth and sustainable development across Africa, gaining valuable skills and networking opportunities.

This programme serves as a pathway for young professionals to build careers in international organizations, governments, NGOs, and the private sector, while enhancing their understanding of development finance and policy work.

Applicants must be nationals of an African Development Bank member country, aged 30 years or younger at the start of the internship, and enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master’s degree programme. Fluency in English or French and proficiency in standard computer applications are also required.

Selected interns may receive a monthly stipend and medical insurance coverage during the internship.
