The African Food Fellowship 2026 is a leadership development program aimed at mid-career professionals dedicated to transforming food systems in Africa. This prestigious initiative will select 120 professionals from Kenya, Rwanda, and Zambia to participate in a 10-month Food Systems Leadership Programme (FSLP), which combines online learning with practical assignments and peer collaboration.

Participants will engage with industry experts, receive mentorship, and gain access to a powerful network of over 230 fellows. The fellowship not only enhances leadership skills but also equips participants with the tools to design and implement solutions to pressing food system challenges in their countries.

Eligibility

  • Age: 27–50 years old
  • Legal resident working in Kenya, Rwanda, or Zambia
  • Currently engaged in food systems-related work
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a relevant impact area
  • Commitment to improving food systems in their country
  • Effective communication in English
  • Availability to commit approximately 4 hours per week

Benefits
