The African Leadership Centre (ALC), in partnership with King’s College London, offers fully funded and partially funded fellowships for the 2026/2027 academic year. These fellowships focus on critical areas such as Peace, Security, Development, and Global Leadership. The fully funded fellowship includes a Master’s degree at King’s College London, mentorship, training, and a 6-month placement in Africa, covering tuition, travel, and accommodation costs.

The program is designed for African graduates or young professionals with a strong interest in policy, research, and leadership. Additionally, there are special tracks for Sudanese women and partial funding options available for other African students and those from the Global South.

Eligibility

Open to African graduates or young professionals, especially for the fully funded track. Applicants should have a degree or be finishing one and demonstrate a commitment to leadership, peacebuilding, and development.

Benefits

The fully funded fellowship covers tuition, travel, accommodation, and includes a 6-month placement in Africa. The partial funding option covers 25% of tuition and £5,000 living support.
