African Union Youth SRH Ambassadors Initiative 2026 for Young Africans (Empowerment and Advocacy)
The African Union Youth SRH Ambassadors Initiative invites young Africans to become leaders in advocating for sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and youth empowerment. This initiative aims to harness the potential of Africa's youth, who represent the largest generation in history, to drive transformative change across the continent.
Selected Ambassadors will engage in impactful advocacy campaigns, amplify key AUDA-NEPAD programs, and ensure that youth perspectives shape Africa's future. This is a unique opportunity for young leaders to connect grassroots realities with continental priorities and participate in significant dialogues on youth health and well-being.
Eligibility
Young Africans (including those in the diaspora) aged 18-35 with a demonstrated commitment to SRH advocacy and youth empowerment. Candidates should have a strong digital presence and the ability to mobilize peers and communities. Representation across regions, gender, languages, and marginalized groups is encouraged. Knowledge of Agenda 2063 and key SRH instruments is an added advantage.
