The Ahaki Africa Fellowship 2026 is designed for early to mid-career professionals and students in Africa who are passionate about reproductive health and rights. This fellowship focuses on Litigating Reproductive Justice in Africa (LIRA) and offers a full-time in-person experience that combines law, health research, and advocacy to tackle challenges in reproductive rights across the continent.
Fellows will receive mentorship, training, and research support while building networks with advocates and researchers. This program not only enhances professional skills but also promotes reproductive justice through practical training and community engagement.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Hold at least a Masters degree in law, public health, social sciences, gender studies, or human rights.
- Have proven experience in SRHR litigation, research, or advocacy.
- Demonstrate commitment to advancing reproductive justice in Africa.
- Show strong leadership qualities and teamwork skills.
Fluency in English and French is highly valued.
