AKS Graduate Fellowship 2026 for International Students (Fully Funded Research Stay)
The AKS Graduate Fellowship 2026 is a fully funded opportunity for international master's and PhD students to conduct research in South Korea. This six-month program allows fellows to explore Korean history, society, or culture while utilizing academic resources and engaging in a global learning environment.
Selected fellows will receive a monthly stipend, round-trip airfare, and free accommodation, along with access to the Graduate School of Korean Studies and its extensive academic libraries and research tools.
Eligibility
Applicants must be foreign nationals or overseas Koreans who have completed all education outside South Korea. They should be Master's graduates or current PhD students enrolled at an overseas university, with research topics related to Korean Studies. Korean language skills are advantageous, and previous fellowship recipients are not eligible to apply again.
