ASEF Journalists Seminar 2026 for Young Journalists (Fully Funded)
The ASEF Journalists Seminar 2026 in Thailand is a fully funded opportunity for young journalists and media professionals from Asia and Europe to enhance their skills and build international networks. This 4-day seminar in Bangkok focuses on journalistic resilience in a volatile world, covering topics like media trust, safety, and mental health.
Organized by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), this biennial seminar promotes media cooperation between Asia and Europe, fostering cross-regional understanding and supporting SDG 16 on public access to information.
Eligibility
Citizens of the 51 ASEM partner countries are invited to apply. Applicants must be journalists or media professionals with at least two years of relevant experience, under 35 years of age, proficient in English, in good health, and prepared to participate actively in the full seminar programme.
Benefits
The seminar covers seminar fees, accommodation for the duration, and return airfare from the participant’s home country to Thailand.
