AWARD Gender-Responsive and Women-Led Research Fellowship 2026 for Women Breeders (Career Advancement)

The AWARD Gender-Responsive and Women-Led Research and Development program aims to strengthen gender-responsive breeding systems across sub-Saharan Africa. This fellowship targets women breeders and agricultural research institutions, ensuring that breeding-led agriculture better reflects the needs of smallholder farmers.

The GROW Fellowship is an immersive, non-residential program designed to accelerate the leadership and career advancement of women breeders. It includes training in leadership, negotiation skills, and a mentoring program, ultimately fostering inclusive agricultural innovation across Africa.

Open to women breeders across sub-Saharan Africa. Applicants should have a background in agricultural research or related fields.
