
Bayreuth Humboldt Centre Short Term Grants 2026 for International Scholars (Fully Funded)
The Bayreuth Humboldt Centre Short Term Grants 2026 provide international scholars with the opportunity to conduct research in Germany with full funding. This program supports short research visits lasting from one to three weeks, fostering collaboration between global scholars and German researchers. It is open to all fields and aims to build lasting academic partnerships.
Grant winners receive up to €3,500, covering travel, accommodation, visa fees, and daily living costs. This financial support allows researchers to focus on their work without financial concerns, facilitating knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a completed PhD and have a strong research background. You must have lived outside Germany for at least 12 months in the 18 months prior to applying. Current residents of Germany and PhD students are not eligible. The program is open to scholars from all countries.
Benefits
Up to €3,500 for round-trip travel, accommodation, visa fees, and a daily allowance for meals and living costs.
