Bayreuth Humboldt Centre Short Term Grants 2026 for International Researchers (Fully Funded)

The Bayreuth Humboldt Centre Short Term Grants 2026 provide a fully funded opportunity for international researchers to collaborate with experts at the University of Bayreuth in Germany. This program supports short research stays of one to three weeks, fostering strong academic ties and innovative ideas across various fields.

With funding of up to €3,500 per person, the grants cover travel, housing, visa costs, and daily allowances, allowing scholars to focus on their research without financial concerns. Open to international scholars who have completed their PhD and have lived outside Germany for at least 12 months in the 18 months prior to applying. PhD students are not eligible. Researchers from any country can apply.
