The Bonn Climate Camp 2026 is a unique opportunity for climate activists from around the world to engage in discussions and workshops alongside the United Nations climate negotiations in Bonn, Germany. This camp aims to empower participants from the Global South, providing them with the tools and knowledge to contribute to global climate action.

Selected participants will receive financial support, including a daily allowance, travel health insurance, and coverage for travel expenses to Bonn. The camp will facilitate networking opportunities and interactive sessions, allowing participants to share ideas and develop climate action plans together.

Eligibility

Candidates can apply as groups focused on climate justice, with specific criteria for nominees:

  • At least one nominee must be under 30 years old.
  • At least one nominee must be non-male.
  • One nominee must not have attended a UNFCCC COP previously.
  • Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
  • Nominees should be committed to supporting climate initiatives after the camp.

Benefits

Participants will receive a daily allowance, travel health insurance, and funding for flights to Bonn. Accommodation is not directly included but can be arranged through the Bed Exchange program.
