CEMES International Fellowships 2026 for International Scholars (Fully Funded)
CEMES International Fellowships 2026 offer international scholars a unique opportunity to conduct interdisciplinary research on person-centered messianism at the Käte Hamburger Center for Messianic Studies in Würzburg, Germany. These fully funded fellowships support senior and junior researchers for 6–9 months, providing a stipend and workspace.
The program fosters global scholarly exchange and innovative research, focusing on messianism within cultural, political, religious, and social contexts. Fellows will have the chance to participate in colloquia, workshops, and collaborative research initiatives.
Eligibility
Applicants must have completed a PhD with an outstanding academic record. The fellowship is open to international senior and junior scholars, with strong encouragement for applications from underrepresented regions and disciplines.
Benefits
Fellows receive a monthly stipend of approximately 5,000 to 9,000 EUR, workspace at the Center, and financial compensation if on unpaid leave.
