CGO Launches Fursa Beta Grant to Support African NGOs & CSOs

CGOAfricaGrantsDeadline: Posted

CGO has introduced the Fursa Beta Grant, aimed at supporting African-based nonprofits, NGOs, and civil society organizations that work with youth, women, and emerging professionals. This grant provides an opportunity for organizations to connect their communities to essential skills, networks, and opportunities across Africa through the Fursa platform.

Fursa, meaning 'opportunity' in Swahili, combines upskilling, job access, and professional networking into a single ecosystem. Selected organizations will onboard up to 150 beneficiaries at no cost for one year, receiving tailored support to maximize their impact and influence the growth of the platform.

Eligibility

Organizations based in Africa that work with youth or women and focus on education, skills development, livelihoods, creativity, or professional pathways. Priority will be given to the first 100 eligible organizations.

Benefits

The grant covers onboarding costs for up to 150 beneficiaries for one year, with a total grant value of approximately USD 15,000. Recipients will also receive tailored support including guided onboarding and seminars.
