
Chatham House Academy Fellowships 2026–2027
Chatham House is inviting applications for four prestigious Academy Fellowships aimed at emerging leaders from various sectors. These ten-month, in-person fellowships will commence in October 2026 and include a Leadership Masterclass Programme designed to cultivate global policy leadership skills.
Fellows will conduct independent research, contribute to Chatham House's work, and collaborate with a global network of experts. This opportunity is ideal for early- to mid-career professionals who are committed to Chatham House’s mission of promoting a sustainably secure, prosperous, and just world.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience and meet the specific eligibility criteria for their chosen fellowship:
- New Generation Europe Academy Fellowship: Russian citizens or dual citizens.
- Mo Ibrahim Foundation Academy Fellowship: Citizens or dual citizens of any African country.
- Richard and Susan Hayden Academy Fellowship: Open to citizens or dual citizens of any country.
- Stavros Niarchos Foundation Academy Fellowship: Greek citizens or dual citizens.
Additionally, candidates should demonstrate relevant professional or research experience, leadership potential, and proficiency in English.
Benefits
Fellows receive a monthly stipend of £2,565 to cover living costs in London, along with relocation support, research funding, and access to Chatham House membership and networking opportunities.
