Chatham House Mo Ibrahim Foundation Academy Fellowship 2026 For African Researchers (Fully Funded To London)
The Mo Ibrahim Academy Fellowship is a fully funded opportunity for early-to-mid-career researchers from African countries to spend ten months at Chatham House in London. This fellowship allows candidates to work on an individual research project of their choice while participating in the core work of the Institute, enhancing their skills through a leadership program and expanding their professional network in international affairs.

Eligibility
- Open to citizens of any African country, including those with dual nationality.
- Applicants must hold a completed BA degree or equivalent and have research experience.
- Ideal candidates are early-to-mid-stage in their careers from academia, NGOs, business, government, civil society, or media.
- No age restrictions apply.
- Full-time commitment to the fellowship is required, precluding concurrent work or studies.
Benefits
Fellows receive a monthly stipend of £2,565 for living expenses in London, along with relocation costs, visa sponsorship, UK Immigration Health Surcharge, and research expenses related to field work, outreach, events, and publications.
