Craft Archive Fellowship 2026 for Researchers (Up to $10,000 Funding)
The Craft Archive Fellowship supports archival research on underrepresented and nondominant craft histories in the United States. This includes feminist, queer, Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, among others. The fellowship aims to encourage research and writing that expands understanding of craft histories and raises awareness of their importance.
Fellowship recipients can use the funds for various research-related expenses, including travel, living expenses, and compensation for community members and artists involved in the research process.

Award amounts range from $1,000 to $10,000, with an average award of $5,000. Funds can be used for travel, living expenses, stipends, and other research-related costs.
