CREATIVE Fellowship 2026 for African Researchers (Fully Funded Clinical Research Training)
The CREATIVE Fellowship is a prestigious, fully funded international programme aimed at strengthening clinical research capacity across Sub-Saharan Africa. It offers early-career researchers advanced academic training, practical research experience, and exposure to the global health industry. This multi-country initiative empowers African researchers with the necessary skills and networks to contribute to health research and innovation.
Running for 30 months, the fellowship includes work placements at leading research institutions, academic training through a Distance Learning MSc programme at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, industry exposure through competitive internships, and structured mentorship from experienced professionals.
Eligibility
Applicants must be nationals of Ethiopia, Ghana, The Gambia, Uganda, Zambia, or Zimbabwe, and apply for a fellowship hosted in their country of nationality. They should hold a first- or second-class honours degree in relevant fields, have at least one year of experience in health research, meet English language requirements, and be available to begin the fellowship full-time in October 2026. Two reference letters are also required.
