DAAD Re-invitation Programme 2027 for Former Scholarship Holders (Short-term Research Support)

The DAAD Re-invitation Programme for Former Scholarship Holders 2027 offers a unique opportunity for alumni of DAAD scholarships to reconnect with German academia and professional networks. Funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, this program supports short-term research or professional stays in Germany, enabling participants to strengthen collaborations and explore new career opportunities.

Participants can receive monthly funding of €2,000 to €2,150, along with travel support, to conduct research or professional visits across various sectors. This program not only facilitates knowledge exchange but also provides access to the DAAD alumni network, enhancing the professional journey of former scholars.

Open to former DAAD scholarship holders and certain former East German scholarship recipients. Applicants must have previously received a DAAD study or research scholarship lasting more than six months and should not have lived in Germany in the last three years. A confirmed project with a German host institution is required, and effective communication in English or German is necessary.

Monthly funding of €2,000–€2,150, plus travel allowance if costs are not covered elsewhere.
