Eligibility

Open to former DAAD scholarship holders and certain former East German scholarship recipients. Applicants must have previously received a DAAD study or research scholarship lasting more than six months and should not have lived in Germany in the last three years. A confirmed project with a German host institution is required, and effective communication in English or German is necessary.

Benefits

Monthly funding of €2,000–€2,150, plus travel allowance if costs are not covered elsewhere.
