The Education Changemakers Program is designed to empower young leaders in East and Central Africa who are dedicated to transforming education in their communities. This fully funded program offers a two-phase development experience, including immersive leadership training and ongoing support to implement educational initiatives. Participants will gain essential skills and access to resources to drive systemic change in education.

Eligibility

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old and from Burundi, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, or Uganda. Candidates should be actively engaged in primary or secondary education sectors as teachers, administrators, or innovators. Proficiency in English is required, and this opportunity is for first-time applicants only.

Benefits

The program covers all expenses for the four-week training in Nairobi, including mentorship and potential small grants for educational initiatives.
