Einstein Forum Fellowship 2026 for Global Thinkers (€10,000 Stipend)
The Einstein Forum Fellowship is a unique opportunity for young, brilliant minds to undertake research in a field completely different from their previous academic background. This fellowship encourages cross-disciplinary thinking and provides an environment free from the constraints of traditional academic hierarchies. Selected fellows will spend six months in Potsdam, Germany, living in Einstein’s summer cottage while receiving a significant stipend and mentorship from world-class scholars.
Eligibility
Applicants must be under 35 years of age, hold a university degree (Master's or equivalent), and propose a project that is different from their previous research. Proficiency in English is required, and while knowledge of German is helpful, it is not mandatory.
Benefits
The fellowship provides a €10,000 stipend, free housing in Potsdam, and covers return travel expenses from the applicant's home country to Germany.
