The Flourish Africa Grant for Female Entrepreneurs is a transformative initiative aimed at empowering African women in business. The program seeks to uplift women entrepreneurs by equipping them with the resources, knowledge, and networks necessary for success. Key impact goals include empowering at least 2,500 female-owned businesses, enhancing entrepreneurial capacity, promoting financial independence, and supporting scalable business models. Through this approach, it contributes to broader economic development and gender equality across the region.
Eligibility
To apply, you must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Between 18 and 50 years
- Gender: Female applicants only
- Ownership: Minimum of 51% ownership if the business is co-owned
- Business Stage: Startup phase
- Location: Business must be based in Nigeria (specific regions may vary annually)
- Technology Access: Must have access to internet-enabled devices for virtual training.

Benefits
Grants of up to ₦3,000,000 are available for selected entrepreneurs. The annual funding pool starts at ₦200 million, increasing to ₦300 million from the third year to address inflation.
