Focus on Film Masterclass and Shorts Film Fund 2026 for Pacific Creatives (Up to NZD $30,000 Funding)
The Focus on Film Masterclass and Shorts Film Fund 2026 invites Pacific-based filmmakers and production teams to submit proposals for the development and production of original short films. This initiative aims to support Pacific creative teams in delivering authentic Pacific storytelling while building their capabilities in the film industry.
Five selected teams will receive up to NZD $30,000 in funding and participate in an intensive masterclass, culminating in the premiere of their films on PCBL platforms and potential entry into the Pacific Island Film Festival in New York City, 2027.
Eligibility
Open to Pacific-based filmmakers and production teams. Applicants should have a strong connection to Pacific storytelling and be willing to collaborate with others in the industry.
Benefits
Funding of up to NZD $30,000 per team for the development and production of short films.
