The 2026 One Health Fellowship Programme offers a transformative opportunity for early-career professionals in East Africa to develop the skills and networks needed to address complex global health challenges. This fully funded, nine-month programme combines leadership development, hands-on experience, and real-world application through various components, including training, placements, and project implementation.

Targeting professionals from Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda, the fellowship aims to produce leaders capable of designing holistic and sustainable solutions to public health threats. By investing in early-career professionals, the programme strengthens regional capacity to respond to emerging health challenges.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include recent graduates, junior faculty, and professionals with at least two years of relevant experience in fields such as public and global health, veterinary medicine, environmental and social sciences, agriculture and policy, gender and community development, and media and psychosocial health. Applicants must demonstrate active involvement in addressing public health challenges and a commitment to leadership and collaboration.
