
Fully Funded Traineeships 2026 for Young Graduates at the EU Delegation to the OECD and UNESCO
Applications are now open for fully funded traineeship opportunities at the European Union Delegation to the OECD and UNESCO in Paris. This program offers recent graduates a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international diplomacy, multilateral cooperation, and global policy work within a European Union mission.
The traineeships are expected to commence between 1 and 15 September 2026 and will last for up to five months. Selected candidates will support the Delegation’s work across different sections, contributing to activities related to UNESCO, the OECD, external relations, and development cooperation.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a university degree in areas such as international relations, law, economics, political science, public policy, or related fields. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required, along with a functional command of the French language. Candidates should have less than one year of professional experience following graduation at the time of signing the traineeship agreement.
Benefits
Selected trainees will receive a monthly stipend to support their living expenses. However, travel expenses, visa application fees, health insurance, accommodation costs, and residence permit-related expenses are not covered.
