Fully Remote DPI Governance Fellowship 2026 — Shape Africa’s Digital Future
The DPI Governance Fellowship 2026 is a three-month, fully remote program designed to train a new generation of researchers focused on the intersection of digital public infrastructure (DPI), human rights, governance, and inclusion across Africa. This initiative aims to equip participants with a critical, rights-based lens to analyze and influence digital governance, ensuring that technological advancements serve to empower rather than disenfranchise vulnerable populations.
Participants will engage in a structured research process that includes theoretical grounding, ethical field engagement, and policy translation. The fellowship emphasizes the importance of producing actionable outputs, such as policy briefs and advocacy tools, that can be utilized by policymakers and civil society to demand accountability in digital transformation.
