Since its launch in 2008, the Gilead RSP has invested over $36 million into research led by more than 300 scholars globally. The program emphasizes equity and inclusion, encouraging applications from underrepresented communities and regions that may not typically receive funding.
Eligibility
Ideal candidates are early-career investigators working in public health and related fields, affiliated with an academic or research institution. Applicants should be developing innovative research addressing unmet medical needs and demonstrate strong potential for scientific impact.
Benefits
Awards of up to $100,000 USD, paid over two years in installments of up to $50,000 annually. Funding is provided to the researcher’s institution, including indirect costs.
