GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize 2026 for Young Agripreneurs ($160,000 Prize Pool)
The GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize 2026 offers a total of $160,000 in prizes for Africa's most innovative young food and agribusiness entrepreneurs. This prestigious competition aims to elevate the visibility of agripreneurs and provide them with funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Winners will be recognized at the Africa Food Systems Forum in Kigali, Rwanda, in September 2026.
Open to young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35 from any of the 55 African Union member states, the competition encourages applications from ventures focused on food innovation, AgriTech, climate-smart agriculture, and more.
Eligibility
Applicants must be aged 18 to 35 and hold nationality from any of the 55 African Union member states. They should operate or be in the process of registering a legal agribusiness headquartered in an AU member state.
Benefits
The prize pool includes Grand Prizes of $50,000 each for one male-led and one female-led business, and Impact Awards of $15,000 each across five categories: Technology and Innovation, Nutrition and Food Security, Job Creation, Climate Resilience, and Gender Equity.
