Health Equity Research for Action (HERA) 2026 for Researchers (Funding Opportunity)
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) is launching a call for proposals under the Health Equity Research for Action (HERA) program. This initiative aims to support community-rooted, action-oriented health equity research that addresses both immediate and long-term needs. The research should reflect lived realities and contribute to building more equitable systems.
RWJF seeks proposals that identify the root causes of structural discrimination, challenge harmful narratives, and disrupt misinformation. Research must be conducted in equitable community partnerships and focus on actionable solutions that inform systems change.
Eligibility
Open to researchers and organizations involved in health equity research. Proposals must include community partnerships and focus on RWJF’s prioritized systems.
