The Hillary Rodham Clinton Research Fellowship is a one-year program aimed at supporting advanced early-career researchers focused on Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) issues. Hosted at the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security, this fellowship offers a hybrid work arrangement based in Washington, D.C., allowing fellows to engage in rigorous, policy-relevant research that addresses critical knowledge gaps in the global WPS agenda.

Fellows will conduct research aligned with contemporary challenges in global peace and security, contributing to policy discussions and international frameworks. The program emphasizes gender dynamics in conflict-affected contexts and encourages applicants with expertise in international affairs, development, law, and security studies.

Eligibility

Eligible candidates include those who are in the final semester of a master’s or PhD program, or recent graduates (within the past three years) with an advanced degree. Preference may be given to alumni of Georgetown University. Applicants should demonstrate strong academic performance in relevant fields, knowledge of the WPS agenda, and research skills in qualitative and/or quantitative methodologies.
