The Huduma Fellowship is a transformative opportunity for early-career professionals in Uganda’s public and civic sectors. This one-year leadership development programme is designed to nurture ethical, effective, and forward-thinking leaders, equipping participants with the skills, values, and networks needed to strengthen public service and drive meaningful change.

Through a combination of residential seminars, mentorship, and peer learning, fellows engage deeply with the challenges and opportunities shaping governance and public leadership in Uganda, ultimately joining a network of like-minded professionals dedicated to improving systems, institutions, and communities.

Eligibility

Applicants must be Ugandan nationals or residents aged 22–35, currently working in government, civil service, non-profit organizations, civil society, or other civic institutions. A demonstrated commitment to ethical leadership and public service is also required.
