The ICTP TRIL Fellowship Programme offers an exceptional opportunity for scientists from developing countries to engage in high-level research and training in Italy's prestigious laboratories. This programme is designed to build scientific capacity in the Global South, providing a platform for Master’s and PhD-level scientists to enhance their research capabilities while contributing to their local scientific communities.

Eligibility

Applicants must be nationals of and currently residing in a recognized developing country. A minimum of a Master’s Degree in physics or a closely related field is required. Proficiency in English is essential, and priority is given to female candidates, those from Least Developed Countries (LDCs), and young scientists with a strong publication record.

Benefits

The fellowship includes a monthly living grant (EUR 1,300 for PhD students, EUR 1,500 for scientists with less than 5 years of PhD experience, and EUR 1,600 for those with more than 5 years), a prepaid round-trip flight ticket, free health insurance, and access to laboratory facilities.
