IDEAs Political Economy Schools 2026 in Latin America
The IDEAs Political Economy Schools 2026 is an exciting international training opportunity for students and early-career researchers interested in economics and political economy. The program takes place across three major cities in Latin America: Buenos Aires, Santiago, and Bogotá. Participants will gain exposure to advanced topics, heterodox economic approaches, and regional policy discussions.
This initiative focuses on providing intensive short-term academic training in political economy, engaging participants in lectures, discussions, and collaborative learning. It aims to deepen understanding of economic systems and development challenges from alternative perspectives, while also offering networking opportunities with scholars and policymakers.
Eligibility
The program is open to:
- Undergraduate students studying economics or related fields
- Graduate students (Master’s and PhD candidates)
