
IFAD Internship Program 2026 for International Students
Applications are now open for the IFAD Internship Program 2026 in Italy. This opportunity is designed for international students currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs, as well as recent graduates. Selected interns will be placed at the IFAD Headquarters in Rome for a six-month internship, providing them with practical experience in areas aligned with IFAD's mission to reduce hunger and poverty in rural areas of developing countries.
The program not only offers a monthly stipend but also includes travel and housing allowances for interns from developing countries. This initiative aims to promote geographic diversity and support young people in gaining valuable insights and skills that contribute to meaningful global development efforts.
Eligibility
All citizens are eligible to apply. Applicants must be under thirty years old and should have completed their undergraduate or graduate degrees within the previous 12 months. Students enrolled in undergraduate programs must have finished at least two years of coursework. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of other languages (Arabic, French, or Spanish) may be necessary depending on the assignment.
