
IFRA Nairobi Internship 2026 for Young Researchers in Africa (International Research Experience)
The IFRA Nairobi internship programme offers students and recent graduates a chance to gain professional research experience within an international academic environment. Running full-time for three to four months starting September 2, 2026, this opportunity is ideal for those interested in research collaboration and academic engagement in Africa.
Selected interns will work closely with an international team of researchers, gaining exposure to professional academic practices and interdisciplinary collaboration. The programme aims to strengthen research, communication, and professional collaboration skills in a multicultural setting.
Eligibility
Open to students and recent graduates interested in research, African studies, social sciences, humanities, and interdisciplinary academic work. Applicants must submit an updated CV, names and contact details of two referees, a motivation letter, and a copy of their latest degree.
