International Program Intern 2026 for Students in Economics and Policy (Paid Internship)
The Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR) is offering an internship opportunity for individuals interested in international affairs and economic justice. The internship will provide hands-on experience in policy advocacy, congressional outreach, and research, particularly focusing on Latin America and international economic issues.
Interns will work closely with CEPR’s International Program team, supporting outreach to Congressional offices and assisting with research, writing, and event organization. This is a valuable opportunity for those looking to gain experience in a fast-paced environment while contributing to meaningful policy discussions.
Eligibility
Candidates must be located in or able to relocate to Washington, DC. A strong interest in international affairs, economic justice, and familiarity with U.S. policy is essential. Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus. Previous experience in outreach or research is helpful.
Benefits
Full-time interns will receive $3,147.05 per month, with up to $345.36 per month available for health insurance costs. Compensation will be pro-rated for part-time interns.
