The Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR) is offering an internship opportunity for students interested in international affairs and economic justice. This internship will provide hands-on experience in policy advocacy, congressional outreach, and research, focusing on Latin America and international economic issues. Interns will work closely with CEPR’s International Program team and gain valuable insights into the workings of Congress and U.S. policy.

Interns will support outreach to Congressional offices, assist with research and writing, and help organize events and meetings. This role is ideal for those looking to deepen their understanding of economic and political outcomes on a global scale.

Eligibility

Applicants should have a strong interest in international affairs and economic justice, with a general understanding of economics and international relations. Previous experience in outreach, event coordination, or research is beneficial. Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus. Candidates must be located in or able to relocate to Washington, DC.

Benefits

Full-time interns will receive $3,147.05 per month, with up to $345.36 per month available for health insurance costs. Compensation will be pro-rated for part-time interns.
