International Winter School 2027 for PhD Candidates (Engage with Scholars)

The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies (ACRPS) invites applications for the Eighth International Winter School (IWS8) titled 'Migrant Communities in an Age of Resurgent Nativism: Rethinking the Questions of Citizenship and Belonging.' This program, taking place in January 2027 in Doha, Qatar, offers participants a unique opportunity to engage with leading scholars and expand their academic networks.

IWS8 focuses on contemporary transformations in migration, citizenship, and belonging, addressing the challenges posed by nativist politics and restrictive migration governance. Participants will explore various topics related to migration and citizenship, contributing to a deeper understanding of these critical issues.

PhD candidates in social sciences and humanities, recent PhD graduates, and early career academics are eligible to apply.
